by the Hospital Authorities, and upon the understanding that

the Institute will make no further pecuniary demands upon this

Government, I strongly recommend the grant of the land upon the

following terms:-

(a). Term of Lease 70 years from date of approval;

(b). Nominal Rent of £1 per annum:

(c). The property to be used only for the erection and

maintenance of a Training Institute for

Chinese Nurses and Midwives, and to revert to

the Crown in the event of its ceasing at any

time to be so used:

(d). Compensation for buildings only to be paid in the

event of the property being resumed for a public purpose either under the Crow Lease or any lew in force for the time being.
